I hope you’re all having a wonderful, relaxing holiday, filled with lots of crafts and cheer! I’ve just emerged from a glorious week with my family in the woods. No internet access. No cities. Just 10 family members, a whole lot of pictionary and a whole lot of fun.
I’ll be back over the weekend with a report on the latest DIY project (spinning wool from scratch and making soap!), but before I do, I wanted to share this with you:
Last week, 52 Projects was featured on the radio!
Understandably, this isn’t nearly as exciting for you as it is for me. But let me just tell you, I’m pretty excited.
To be honest, I’ve found blogging to be a fairly one-sided process. It’s rare that I actually get to share the excitement of a finished project, or the thrill of discovering how to make a product that I’ve bought my entire life with you all in any way other than comments (which I love by the way!). So hearing someone else tell the story of 52 Projects is pretty cool.
If you’d like to have a listen, click here. The whole episode is fascinating, but the 52 Projects piece starts around 38:50.
And, of course, please keep sending in project ideas! It’s wonderful to have a huge selection to pick from, and I’m always excited to expand my thoughts of what could be possible to make from scratch.
Ok, that’s all for now! Back soon with more Projects!
